HSMS Conflict Resolution Posters
Project Requirements
The teaching staff of Humber Summit Middle School were launching a new safety program to inform and educate the students about resolving conflicts. Quiet City Design was asked to design a poster as the main visual aid in the initiative. The poster needed to be eyecatching and clear but with a design that can last many years.
The Process
With the average age of the students being 10 to 12 years old, several dramatic styles were explored, including vibrant graffiti designs, textured background effects and pop-culture influences. The chosen poster featured the concise message delivered as an app on the face of an iPhone mobile devise. The teaching staff all felt this was a recognizable and accessible for the forward-thinking student body.
Finished Results
The simple message of the program was delivered to the students in a modern and familiar way. Posters were finished with a 2mil glossy lamination to provide a visual punch and increase their durability.
