International Horn Day
Concert Programme
Project Description: The 4th annual celebration of French Horn repertoire and musicians is the brain-child Gloria Ratcliffe and Joan Watson. Each year a concert is organized in Toronto’s St. Paul’s Bloor Street (Anglican) Church, featuring musicians ranging in level from beginning students to world-class professionals.
Requirements: The concert organizers needed a programme layout which matched the caliber of music. The booklet would need space for text, sponsor ads, and lists of names or items.
Components: The programme booklet was finished at 5.5″ wide by 8.5″ high, saddle-stitched, with a colour cover page and black & white copy inside. The production was done on a digital print machine at a local print service. Keeping the page design within a margin of 0.25″ allowed for inexpensive printing without trimming excess paper.
