Project Description: Launching the 2008-2009 concert season, Weston Silver Band chose to promote themselves to the community with a higher visual profile, and asked Quiet City Design to take on the advertising.  The first concert focused on soloists from within the band, and required a dramatic and exciting presentation.

Requirements: WSB asked for a punchy, exciting look for the poster, maintaining a sense of class and the tradition of brass banding culture.  Soloist listing were opted out due to unconfirmed program decisions, so the title of the concert was the main subject to work with.

Components: A brilliant stock image of trumpet valves was used to illustrate the sharp, bright and dynamic style of the band.  Lighting and colours were picked up to tie in the title and concert information.  Posters (8.5″x11″) were run on digital colour presses for budget printing on demand.  Digital versions of the poster were created for email and web distribution.
